Former NFL player and popular YouTuber Uche Nwaneri died suddenly at the age of 38 following a suspected heart issue. He spent seven seasons playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars (2007-2013) and covered the team on a YouTube channel that attracted thousands of views.

“We are saddened to learn of the passing of Uche Nwaneri,” the Jags wrote on Twitter.

According to initial reports, the former offensive lineman-turned-YouTube star died on Friday, December 30, 2022, after collapsing at his wife’s home in West Lafayette, Indiana.

According to the Lafayette Journal and Courier, Nwaneri was found unresponsive in a bedroom around 1 am.

The news outlet reported that a preliminary autopsy report suggested that the 38-year-old suffered a heart attack.

AEW owner and Jaguars executive Tony Khan wrote: “On behalf of the Jaguars organization and my family, our thoughts are with Uche’s family and friends at this terrible time.”
